The Society of Pakistani Doctors in Kuwait organized its 17th free medical camp at Pakistan English School and College in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh on Friday, December 7, 2018. More than 1,000 people from the Pakistani community benefited immensely from the medical checkups, since these tests at hospitals are usually expensive. The medical tests included free consultation, free blood sugar checkup, free blood pressure checkup and free ECG. These camps are a great relief for many Pakistanis.
Ambassador of Pakistan Ghulam Dastaghir was the chief guest, while Arif Butt and Hafiz Mohammad Shabbir were special guests at the camp. President of SPDK Dr Shujauddin thanked the ambassador and all visitors for attending and supporting the free medical camp. The Principal of Pakistan English School and College Mrs. Snobar Farrukh fully cooperated with the organizers and thanked the community for the success of the event. At the conclusion of the camp, the ambassador distributed shields to the doctors, sponsors and volunteers.
The medical camp was supported by the Kuwait Diabetes Society, Pakistan Business Council Kuwait, Al-Hafiz Co, Bismilla Restaurant, Kuwait Medical Association, Maujeza Al Shifa and Safina Restaurant Hotel among others.
